"Loyal to the Crown" depicts the Mohawk leader Karonghyontye with a British officer in the period just after the Revolutionary war. The Mohawk were loyal to the British throughout the war. This painting was commissioned by James E Rogers shortly before his death in 2014. Rogers is the attorney whom the University of Arizona College of Law is named after.
