Wonderful clay pieces filled with Flames and Devils and Sea Creatures are made in the remote village of Ocumicho. The pieces are crafted from locally collected clays then fired in a pit kiln before being meticulously painted. Each one is a unique one of a kind work of art.

In the rural Mexican state of Michoacán, devils, mermaids, saints, sun gods, and drunks can all be found mixing it up and having a great time. Each of these characters, and many more, inhabit the strange universe depicted in sculptures produced in the tiny town of Ocumicho.
