Jaguars have long been revered in the jungles of southern Mexico for their beauty and power. Their ability to hunt both during the night and day, and on land and in water, gives them a mystical shape-shifting presence. Our jaguar ceramics come from the state of Chiapas, which borders Guatemala, and are said to be protective of the areas in which they are displayed.
